Story Behind the Art:
Joyce Wanjiru Mwangi is a 39 year old Kenyan woman. She is married with three kids. She started with an interest in weaving and bead work when she was 20 years old. For training, she worked with other African women and worked for free for them. She is very happy to be doing this work that helps support her family with food and education.
