Want to win a $10,000 Room Makeover? Keep Reading to Learn How

What would you do with $10,000 and the aid of a celebrity interior designer? Give me that much money to spend on decorating, and I will end up with 400 patterned throw pillows and a wall full of picture frames. Give $10,000 to Angelo Surmelis, host of HGTV's "Rate My Space" and designer behind the angelo:HOME line, and he'll create a picture-perfect space that blends colors, patterns and lines.

As part of our big birthday celebration, we're holding a "Choose Your Room" makeover contest. The prize is a $10,000 room transformation done by Angelo Surmelis himself, and to enter the contest*, all you have to do is fill out a form on our site and submit a video via YouTube. Call in a favor from a friend and recruit them as your videographer or shoot a simple cell phone video clip; we'll take anything as long as you show us the room you would like to re-do in all its glory and the story behind why you deserve a stylish update.

The angelo:HOME line is inspired by Angelo's love of trendy colors and traditional shapes, so whether your home is modern and chic or vintage and kitschy, he'll be able to create a look for you that fits with your vision.
