This printer cable works fine if you want to only print something. It doesn't work if you want to scan anything. I thought it was my printer at first, but as soon as I used someone else's HP printer cable, I was able to scan and operate my printer as normal. This purchase was a waste of money for me and not worth returning considering the price of shipping it back would be more than I paid for the cable to begin with. So if you're looking for a printer cable to fully operate your printer/scanner, this is not the one to buy. Spend the $15 and you'll save yourself some aggravation.
