Not worth the money
Mat is way overpriced for what you get. Slides on carpet despite the felt backing. Marks up easily with minimal use. It would be OK if it was about $100 cheaper. Small crack already appearing in one of the slats and its been used less that 8 hrs. Would not recommend at all. Doesn't look like it will hold up very long. Very disappointing for the high price.

Chinese made - slight damage - No Surprise There
It wasn't worth the effort to return for the slight flaws. The condition is consistent with my prior experience with Chinese manufactured goods. It is good enough for the floor but I wouldn't eat from Chinese made plates, there is no telling what might be in them. Over a few weeks, it has held up but only time will tell whether it is well made or junk. I hope there isn't anything in the mat which will off-gas and poison me.

Love, Love, love this mat
I used to have the plastic office mats in my sewing room machine areal. Since they were on carpet I had to replace frequenty because they would crack, break and fall apart. This mat is wonderful. My chair glides along and it really "classes up" my room
