This is a very nice, solid lectern. The storage area under the lid is very handy. It comes well packaged. Also, the Overstock price is way cheaper than elsewhere. Note that the color of the Overstock piece is medium oak, not the light oak pictured. I knew this when I bought it. It is actually a very pleasant color, but it could be a surprise is you were expecting the light oak.

This lectern was a pleasant surprise. Value, quality and ease of assembly makes this a must buy for anyone in need of a podium.

I was looking for something to use as a host stand in a restaurant. Could only find things in the $500 range. This works perfectly. It is well made, VERY solid and attractive. Highly recommended
