  don't waste your money on plastic dust pans, they crack, break and fall apart. i've had a metal dust pan for as long as i can remember, until i moved and it got miss placed. i bought a plastic one. totally useless, glad i found Overstock this metal dust pan beats all the rest. heavy duty and will last a life time. plus it doesn't have that stupid 1/4 inch lip lift. well worth the money!
