As far as I am concerned, the Retro 51 Pen is the finest on the market. I enjoy them and have for several years. I always use the Parker Roller Ball refill since the liquid ink ones tend to run in my pocket. (my fault though) Everyone that "borrows" my pen, tries to "steal" it from me. I have bought at least 3 to give away. If you want a pen that has great workmanship, looks wonderful, writes with a lot of comfort, has great balance, and people envy, the Retro 51 is the pen for you. Overstock.com has the best price for these pens and I have searched a lot of web sites and stores to compare. As you can tell, I am a Retro 51 Pen fan and can only HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone, anywhere, at anytime. You can't go wrong!
gave it as gilk to sister-in-law. she ordered refills last month after 9months of use. stated it was her favorite writtinh pen, and a conversation piece.

It took me a while to decide on a pen for Xmas gifts...and the Retro 51 Tornado Mamba was perfect! THe quality was excellent. I tested these Retro 51 pens locally and they were awesome to write with! Much better than ball-points! Rollerballs are darker, smoother, and just simply way better. I will never use or give a ball-point style pen again! Retro 51 pens are classy, and well...retro! Love 'em. The most unique pens I've ever seen. Great converstion piece when my clients are about to sign contracts. Great ice breaker to break the tension. I let them "doodle" and get to experience these pens before they sign on the dotted lines...and they love 'em! Now I have to buy more as gifts! BTW, I origanally wanted Parker pens, but for some reason, cannot get the right color/model in a rollerball! What are they thinking? The other great thing is, Retro 51 pens are the best value IMO! $300 MontBlanc...I don't think so! Lastly, I also ordered the Route 66 and leather model.
