First of all, I received this in a torn-open bubble envelope! The whisk itself was peeping out of the hole, and the wires part was open to the world; no plastic covering! So every Tom, Dick and Harry that handled this open envelope touched up the wires of the whisk.
And the listing says it's made in U.S.A. Not.
Only the handle has a little plastic baggie rubber-banded around it, and that has a "China" sticker on it. Very very sloppy appearance overall. This is going back.
Used it for the first time on Thanksgiving. I've always wanted something like this and the timer worked great. Plugged it in the turkey and checked back in two hours. No muss, no fuss no bother. This is one kitchen accessory that will be used a lot in my home.
this is an overpriced unit I placed them in my commercial kitchen only to have one rip on its outter in only 4 days so I am not satisfied. As you can see I bought plenty of Items from overstock but this is a negative
I can't tell you how hard this ice pick was to find. I searched many local retail outlets, and could not find this item anywhere. I just needed an ice pick as a handy tool for the home. Besides ice, you can use it to start a small hole in a piece of wood to get a eyehook started ; a hole in a piece of drywall for an anchor without having to take out a drill --not as messy. It's just a handy thing to have around the house. Overstock.com is my to go place for hard-to-find items.
