This is the perfect glass! It is just the right size. At 16 ounces it is large enough for a dinner glass. The quality is great. With six kids (who all have a dish night) we go through our glasses rather too quickly. These have stood up remarkably well. They are also as attractive as the picture and go well with all my dinnerware. These glasses are also very comfortable to hold. They've become my favorite glass in the house.
I bought 3 of these, 2 for Christmas presents, one for me. I used this probably 5-6 times already making peanut brittle. I absolutely LOVE IT. I'm 44 years old and the old style graduated candy thermometers are just too hard to read now days. This thermo has a nice, clear, easy to read digital display of the temp of whatever you are cooking. If you need a candy or oil thermometer you won't be disappointed!
Vollrath does make a line of saute pans with ceramic non-stick lining. But this non-stick, "Powercoat2" is actually from their cheapest line. "Ceramigard II" is in a completely different line of cookware they make. This product does not have Ceramiguard. So use of the word "ceramic" in the description of the product's non-stick is misleading. This is not a ceramic lining that you can take metal to or that will last forever or that will not leech plastics into food. Very disappointed in this product. Very disappointed in the misleading description.
