njpiperpilot from Clinton, NJ, Rating:1.0This product was advertised as "Brother" brand. it is not. It is "compatible" toner from a no-name manufacturer. While this may or may not be an issue for everybody, I don't want to void the warranty on my new printer and I have damaged other printers in the past by using remanufactured and 3rd party toner products. I just am disappointed to have ordered one thing and received a different item of lesser quality.

midnightsword from UT, Rating:5.0I own a business from my home and print all the time. This toner was better than other no-name brands. I also liked how fast it shipped to me and how carefully it was packaged. It was the best deal I found.

marvelous67 from Bath, NY, Rating:1.0I tried these and the color turned out to be no where near original equipment quality. spend your money wisely and buy HP original products.

ytfelpma Rating:2.0I had been searching for HP brand toner as many people have said the knockoff Compatible Brand (that is the brand name) was inferior to actual HP. I found this product at a great price and the product details said it was made by HP. The title said HP Compatible Black Toner Cartridges, so I contacted customer service to double check if it was made by HP. They assureed me it was made by HP but when it arrived I found that was untrue. I needed the toner and didn't have the ability to return and purchase again. The toner does print fine - maybe a little lighter than the HP ones, but I'll see how long it lasts compared to the HP brand toner.

rick27607 from Delray Beach, Florida, Rating:3.0Overstock.com -->Easy ordering experience, fast shipping, adequate packing, UPS Delivered... Just received and installed this 2 pack toner -- Great price for 2 cartridges -- however the paucity of detail in the description should have said volumes as this is not true HP OEM toner but a third party toner designed to work in my HP 1020 (I was hoping that overstock.com meant I would be getting true HP OEM toner that was being discounted because of an 'overstock' situation..foolish me :-) So, I opened one up and it seems well made, and had a few places to pull paper and plastic tape to activate to toner supply..seems to be printing OK on day one, hour one -- will write more if issues arise.. If you are aware that this is not HP OEM toner and are looking for a competitive price (2 of these are still cheaper than one HP OEM toner cartridge), then I would say give it a try..I will give it a 3 mainly due to the lack of description offered on Overstock.com's website and as I have not h...
