Vollrath does make a line of saute pans with ceramic non-stick lining. But this non-stick, "Powercoat2" is actually from their cheapest line. "Ceramigard II" is in a completely different line of cookware they make. This product does not have Ceramiguard. So use of the word "ceramic" in the description of the product's non-stick is misleading. This is not a ceramic lining that you can take metal to or that will last forever or that will not leech plastics into food. Very disappointed in this product. Very disappointed in the misleading description.
This timer is a nice size, about 4" wide, and easy to use. A defect is that it doesn't have an off switch, so if you carry it in your purse or pocket, it tends to beep, which also presumably runs down the battery. I bought a little case at the Container Store (designed to hold q-tips, of all things) which fits it perfectly.
