Easy on the eyes
I bought 3 of these, 2 for Christmas presents, one for me. I used this probably 5-6 times already making peanut brittle. I absolutely LOVE IT. I'm 44 years old and the old style graduated candy thermometers are just too hard to read now days. This thermo has a nice, clear, easy to read digital display of the temp of whatever you are cooking. If you need a candy or oil thermometer you won't be disappointed!

Works fine up to 400 degrees
It worked so well that I bought one for my sister who was complaining about her thermometer. I have had mine for 5 years and it gets plenty of use but keeps on working. The only problem is you have to be very careful cleaning the screen as it does not like any wetness and I had to dry it out for 3 days once when I cleaned it with a sponge that was too damp.
