  If you are looking to purchase umbrellas in bulk, I would recommend this item. I purchased 3 cases of 24 and every umbrella arrived completely intact and functional. Unlike some paper thin umbrellas you may find, the black nylon of this Rainworthy umbrella is fairly thick and does a good job of repelling water. The core, handle, tip and umbrella pegs are all of wood and stained in a light honey-amber tone which really gives a rich feel to this item and who can't use an extra black umbrella! The open/close mechanism is unlocked by depressing a small button with a shiny black finish and gold trim and operates very smoothly. The only SLIGHT issue I found was that some of the plastic caps on the wooden tip were loose but it is a quick fix with a little dab of glue to set it in place. These were given as employee appreciation gifts and were very well received. It is a practical gift with a low cost per item price tag thanks to OS.
