This stuff is incredible! I first purchased a small amount at a restaurant supply store. It lives up to all it advertises to do. I find all kinds of treasures at yard sales, flea markets, auctions, and the like. I especially love to find old bakeware, glassware and kitchenware items. Some of this stuff has 100 years of goo and grime on it! But this stuff really does work. Some pieces have massive layers of unspeakable gunk on them, but after a few cleanings the true value of the item really does come shining through. It is also great on glassware, such as old Pyrex bakeware. I think this is the only cleaner that will actually clean aluminum without discoloring it. One thing I must emphasize. You cannot approach this cleaner with a cavelier attitude. This is a very strong chemical compound. You absolutely must wear gloves. You must wear eye protection. If it gets on your skin it will leave a chemical burn. I suggest using this near a sink, so you can wash off any spilled chemical that may get on your skin. Be careful not to let it get on anything else, like finished wood cabinets, near your sink. It will eat through the finish. This is starting to sound like like the toxic "blood" from the creature in Alien that melted through metal. But, if you read and follow all the precautions plainly printed on the container, you will be fine. Just don't let the chemical drip on the container; it will eat off the labeling! It is well worth the price. There is nothing else like it on the market that does such a great job.
