For the price of $$$, this was acceptable quality. For $$$ or less, it would be perfect. It went together with no issues. My husband and I did it in less than an hour. The cam locks didn't want to turn completely and it's still a tad wobbly once assembled. We won't be sitting on it often though. Also, a little more red once we got it in the living room. It will serve its purpose for now, but it's not a piece I will rave about and certainly won't last beyond 5-6 years.
I love the fact that this is all in one construction - that means that
over time the handle doesn't break and separate from the pan
(and that can and does happen).
It is carbon steel and came seasoned (as most of this type of pan
does these days), but I made quick work out of removing the finish,
because I like to age them myself from the bare steel.
I have a one lid for my woks, and with it and this pan, I have one of
the best old school popcorn poppers ever. It is solid, roomy, and also
fairly lightweight to an advantage of being useful in many otherwise
These are a little more expensive than the paper towels I had been ordering, but you can dry your hands with one towel instead of two. They are soft and absorbent. so for people who have to wash their hands multiple times during the day they are wonderful.
