The frog isn't as adorable as some of the other animal boot and shoe scrapers, but he may be more practical. He has 4 rubber nubs under him, to help keep him from slipping around while you use him. He is also wide and low to the ground, so he doesn't tip over. He is perfect as an occasional shoe scraper that you have out for looks. (If you need a heavy duty boot scraper, I wouldn't get the type shaped like an animal.) We keep him on a stone step outside of a cabin to greet guests and provide light shoe scraping.
All in all you can't beat the price. I installed 5 sets of these in a kitchen remodel and I had one set brake on me while doing the work. Little tab on the soft close mechanism broke off rendering it useless. Otherwise the drawers do go through a soft close transition like I would expect but I was hoping for them to GLIDE a little better. My guess would be the grease that they use in the ball bearings is a little too thick. Not sure if they will get better in time but I would probably buy them again if I needed them.
