Vollrath does make a line of saute pans with ceramic non-stick lining. But this non-stick, "Powercoat2" is actually from their cheapest line. "Ceramigard II" is in a completely different line of cookware they make. This product does not have Ceramiguard. So use of the word "ceramic" in the description of the product's non-stick is misleading. This is not a ceramic lining that you can take metal to or that will last forever or that will not leech plastics into food. Very disappointed in this product. Very disappointed in the misleading description.
Wow! It's very large ! Nice and I like it. But it is not 18" overall length. Handle is almost 5" long each and pin itself measures 17.5", its total length is 27.5". 3" in diameter. It is big. Now I have to find the space to keep it. (Before ordering, I read" Q & A" on this item and it said 18 " overall length and I had a place in the drawer to keep it nicely.)
It's heavy duty and I really like it, so it's a keeper. There was no paperwork in the package. I was looking for the information on how to maintain this wood product before first use.
