I bought these for a mad scientist party for my son. They held up to the kids and still looked good when they took them home. They do have kind of a papery look to them, but that is to be expected. They are clearly marked disposable. Although they are disposable, they can be worn several times before they would need to be thrown away.

We needed to inexpensively make 30 middle-school girls look like CSI scientists for a special forensics murder mystery event at summer camp. These fit the bill perfectly. Affordable, right size for preteens and early teens, and we were pleasantly surprised that they were durable enough that we can store them to use again later. Paired with blue nitrile gloves and clipboards, these lab coats were a big hit. Don't know how well they'd hold up in a professional lab for daily use by adults, but it worked for what we needed.

I needed inexpensive lab coats for my son's birthday party. I was hesistant to purchase these because of the word "disposable" in the title. The only thing that makes them "disposable" is how inexpensive they are. The are made of a strong fabric that I was able to embroider with my sewing machine with each boy's name. Each boy took his home as a gift (together with goggles) and they were a huge hit. I loved how they had pockets, which some of the other competitor's coats do not. The smalls were perfect for the 11-12 year old boys at the party. I can highly recommend them.
