odd need
I am a volunteer in a local hospital's pediatric unit. I have for the last few years been purchasing small 1oz plastic cups so we could provide the patients with small portions of paint in various colors for their painting projects. That has worked out very well but the cost is pretty high at about $4 per hundred count. The paper cups have a wider base and are therefor more stable so we have fewer accidents. This causes the paint (an expensive item purchased from the unit's budget) to last a bit longer. This is an unusual usage, but clearly meets the need.
