Ordered these for my Marine Grandson overseas
My Marine g/son is currently deployed in Afghanistan where the temp is commonly 100-110 degrees. He takes these with him on missions away from base camp to help him cool off when the heat becomes unbearable. We tested these cold packs at home before sending them overseas, and the packs stayed very cold for at least 30-45 minutes, and relatively cool for the next hour. Best price I could find on quality cold packs that lasted over 15 minutes.

Slap Packs
I have a bad back, and use ice frequently to relieve pain. Riding in the car for more than a few minutes and some regular daily activities cause me pain. These packs are durable and I carry some with me in the car at all times. They numb quickly and it seem to me better than refrigerator ice packs. They last about 15-20 minutes, so they keep me within the 20-25 guidelines for ice therapy.
