Mabis Healthcare Royal Blue Rollator Walker

With the exception that a burgundy with black bars was sent, quality outstanding, and patient/client happy. Did not send back for correct mabis blue that was ordered because clients 79 year old Mother needed equipment badly. Easy to assemble and definitely for price would recommend and just as good in many ways as more expensive models

First of all when I ordered this item I specifically ordered a ROYAL Blue Rollator Walker. Well Overstock sent a Burgandy colored walker. Also the item took two weeks to arrive because of a shipping address error by overstock shipping department. They shipped the walker in error to Salt Lake City, UT. The original shipping label from Overstock indicated that. UPS ground had to reroute the shipment to my home address in NYC. This walker was ordered for a Catholic Priest who had knee replacement surgery and needed this item as soon as possible. When I ordered the item on the phone, the rep told me that there was no need to pay for expedited shipping, since it would take the same amount of time to be sent from the warehouse. So I decided not to take the expedited shipping. I am extremely disatisfied with this order. I have ordered many times in the past and never had a problem like this. The priest specially wanted a Royal Blue Walker not Burgandy. But since it was a gift to him, he did not make a big fuss about it.

Another excellent purchase from O. This rollator has given my husband (78 and recovering from a broken hip) more mobility. His movement is more fluid. We are excited to return to physical therapy with this new rollator. It took about 5 minutes to put together. I have seen this same product in aphysical therapy supply catalogue for almost $300. The price was right and we are happy with our purchase. And as always, we are happy with the quick shipping and completion of the transaction with O. Another outstanding job.

I had back fusion at L4-5 about 6 weeks ago now, and was sent home from the hospital with the typical walker, no brakes, no seat, no manner of carrying things. I dutifully used this to take neighborhood walks, but it seemed that my own body provided more stability than the walker, i.e. the wheels seemed to "stick" whenever I went over a slight change in the pavement. If I didn't lift the walker up, it could have actually tripped me rather than insuring my safety. I was supposed to take increasingly long walks, and was finding that I wanted a portable seat more than I was in need of stability. . .so I made a sling seat to attach to the walker. Voila! Still no brakes though, so maybe a little less than safe. This walker has larger, much more high quality wheeels, which maneuver with ease. It has a fold-down seat, with a basket underneath for carrying personal items. It has brakes, and adjustable handles. . .comfy backrest for the "portable chair" aspect. I even installed a drink holder from a Bob stroller in the basket (which has indentations to hold two drinks as well as a small compartment for items you wish to be more secure). What can I say. . .it looks much less "hospital" than the typical walker, and is much more usable. I made myself use the other one. . .whereas this one actually serves a positive purpose. I recommend it without reservation. Oh, one thing I might mention, when it arrived, the box had a kind of unusual smell. . .my husband put it out on the back porch and asked whatever was in THAT box? But no smell has lingered. . .no lasting problem. Thanks for making a great product available in a timely manner.
