Everything happens for a reason

Believe in yourself.  Believe in your team.  Believe that you can make it to the roof of Africa.  This is going to be a tremendous undertaking for all of us.  We have trained and trained to make sure that our minds, bodies and spirits are ready for this.  There is nothing more gratifying then helping a paraplegic climb up a mountain.  The way people admired us, as we were climbing this weekend was humbling.  Now I know why I have lost 50 pounds.  I didn’t do this for me.  I did it for Erica. 

I have so much to be thankful for; the support from my friends, family, and most of all the Overstock.com family.  Without them I wouldn’t even be a part of this astonishing adventure.  I am so appreciative that I was chosen for this climb and I know it is going to be a wondrous success.  I have never worked for a company like this.  They have wonderful values and treat everyone like family.
