It's too big for the dash of my Mazda 3. I should have believed the reviews that I read prior to purchase! I called about returning it, but it will cost almost as much to return as I paid for it. Decided to keep it, maybe I can find someone else who can use it.

Nice because it's easily stowable although fairly light in weight. Doesn't really add much improvement over the heavier bean bag type that I'm replacing because my dash board is not perfectly smooth in the area being used for mounting. The GPS unit isn't super stable with this pad but sufficient.

This item was not exactly what I was looking for. I wish I would have read the description in more detail than I did. I thought it came with the assembly hardware and the pad for the price. This was just a pad that you place on the dashboard to place your gps system on instead of in your window. Unfortunately, this did not work for me, because I needed the hardware more than I needed the pad. I bought two of these and am not satisfied because I am now using it to place my radar detector on and I still have the same problem of not having the hardware, which was the whole purpose of buying this, because my original hardware broke. The one I bought for my sons car does not stick to the dashboard, it just sits up there and has no sticking power. I really could have spent xxxx plus shipment a whole lot wiser than this. I gave 3 stars because if you do not need the hardware, than maybe spending almost xxxx plus shipping is a good buy for someone else, but not for me!

I placed my 4" screen gps on the sticky mount dash pad and it kept falling over each time I accelerated and braked to a stop. The gps was too heavy for this pad. It needs to be sturdier with an enhanced base to keep the gps from tilting over.

Looks like this is going to last forever. Stays in place even on the dashboard.

Bought this to go underneath the weighted GPS nav mat for a better hold to the dash and it works great for that.

I have one of these and use it often. I liked it so much, i sent one to my sister for use with her new GPS. Easy to mount GPS to it and it doesn't pop off if you mouint the GPS suction cup mount to it properly. I got tired of my GPS popping off of my windshield in the cold weather and then found that it wasn't jus tme. Several friends of mine reported the same problem. Then I found this. Although its less expensive than some other ones, it does the job for me. I recommend this product, though you must find a flat spot on your dashboard and not put it on the air bag if you have a passenger--true of any of these type of mounts..

The GPS Sticky Pad purports to provide a secure base for the suction foots of GPS devices. The suction grip of the device only lasts about 1-2 minutes, then breaks, leaving the device hanging, or, in the case of a dash-mounted sticky pad, the GPS device falling off the pad and "hanging" free. Do NOT buy this product!

We used the Sticky Pad four or five times a year on road trips and stored it out of sight each time we got out of the car. In between trips, it was stored in our house with our GPS. So we're not sure what caused the material to deteriorate and fall apart. But it worked so well that we're trying another one.

I purchased one for my father, then my mother wanted one too, and now I purchased one for myself. It's a great product, highly recommended.

I have two other types of bean bag mounts and this one is far superior to those. I have used them all in different cars and a charter bus that I drive. There is no slipping or sliding. Very stable. I just keep the back clean, put it in plastic food bag to transport it and off I go. The low profile and stability is a big plus for.
