I read the reviews for this product and knew it would be transparent. What I didn't realize was that it would appear as more of a gray background rather than black (probably due to how thin the plastic is), and the top is lined with a white/off-white strip where the shower curtain rivets are located. We have it in front of a white liner curtain which doesn't help its cause, but even without the white liner the curtain is more gray than black. Maybe a black shower curtain liner would help? The tulips also suffer from being printed on a thinner plastic - they're less white and more grayish as well.
Additionally, the quality is very similar to cheaper shower curtains you can get from bigger local stores - it's the shiny, thin, plastic-smelling curtain that many designs are slapped onto. The folds where the product was folded are very visible, and it's just not worth the twenty-something dollars we paid for it. I think it's worth closer to $10-$15.
I gave it three stars because while it's not what I wanted, I'll keep it. It is a nice design, and it goes well enough with our bathroom decor.
I would really like to see the design printed in material with a strong, true black background - I'll just have to keep looking.
Overall, it's an average product: not great, not terrible.
