These are the most fabulous sheets I have owned in my forty years of living. I washed them before putting them on the bed. As it stated the fitted sheet is indeed oversized (as many claim, but few REALLY are) to fit overly thick mattresses. These have plenty of room. But the best thing about them is that they are softer than any sheet i have ever slept on and i have slept on some very expensive sheets. These are a great value. I am actually thinking of ordering some for a friend for christmas.

I have a King size double pillow top mattress, and frequently have trouble finding fitted sheets deep enough and top sheets long enough to fit it. These are great--they fit with room to spare plus they have a very nice feel. Would definitely recommend them to anyone who has had difficulty finding sheets that fit their mattress.

The sheets were nice when I took them out of the package. I washed them before I put them on thinking they wouldn't be so stiff. I'm so glad I saved this review because these are the worst sheets I've ever had. I've had them for a few months now and after ordering these sheets I will no longer order anything from O. I spent alot of time before I ordered these. They never did get soft and I didn't know sheets could pill this much. It's been a few months now and I use them to cover my flowers from frost. Very expensive frost protection. I hope this review is helpful to prevent anyone from ordering these.

I purchased these sheets and have washed them 3-4 times. At first washing, they were fine, every washing since the first one the fabric has pilled. They are now at the point where they are annoying to sleep on. They are not smooth and soft at all. I would not recommend that you purchase this particular set. Sorry...

I have purchased 9 sheet sets in the past year. These sheets were simply the best sheets I have ever experienced! I would compare this sheet set to the ones used in the finest hotels. The texture is beautifully soft yet surprisingly durable. I would recommend these sheets to everybody!

These sheets are so soft and are surprisingly wrinkle-free. I thought they would be thicker, but they are still perfect for the spring and summer months. I bought them in sage and now that I look at them, they probably would look crisper in white. These sheets could become your favorite because they are cut generously and are soft beyond belief.

These sheets are beautiful, and I was very excited to try them out. What I have found is that although the sheets are soft, they are not very smooth. In fact, they feel slightly scratchy and a little rough--I think because of the stripes. I would not have bought them if I knew they would be like this. Maybe they'd be fine for a guest bed or something, but I am not looking forward to lying in them every night.

The Portofino 600TTC sheets are the softest, most comfortable sheets I own. And...they wash and dry beautifully, coming out of the dryer with hardly a wrinkle. The only trick is to wash them before using them. This is a must for all sheets. And they should be dried on the lowest heat setting with a cool down cycle and taken out of the dryer when "done." These are combed cotton, so they are softer and wrinkle less than non-combed cotton sheets. I have been sleeping on them for the last 4 nights, and I hate to get out of bed now more than ever! If you are looking for soft, comfortable sheets that are also beautiful, the Portotinos are for you!!

I've had these sheets for several weeks and I've washed them several times. They are very soft and since I hate ironing, but like my sheets to look decent, I'm happy to say that they come out of the dryer looking and feeling good. The color is just what I wanted-a nice yellow that is not washed out or too pale. I'll probably get another set of these.

I really like these sheets. They are a medium weight, and the stripe is subtle and pretty. Plus, the yellow color is rich and buttery. I'm not a big fan of super-high thread count sheets, so these are perfect. They are plenty soft for me, especially after washing. Wrinkling hasn't been a big problem so far.

I have purchased about 6 sheet sets from Overstock in the past couple of years ranging from 400 TC to 1000 TC and these are the best by FAR! They are so beautiful and soft and wash up so nicely. These blow the 1000 TC sheets I purchased out of the water. Buy these sheets!

Familiar with the quality of damask linen, I decided to try this out. Very pleasantly surprised: soft, silky, not prone to wrinkle, good quality, retains these qualities through several washing. Will only buy damask from now on, as the sateens sold by overstock are not reliable.

Not the quality I expected! It smelled like a wet warehouse. Had to wash it right away. All the shine was lost after first wash. Would not recommend it.

I purchased these sheets at the same time I purchased the three inch memory foam mattress topper by Serta. These sheets really are deep enough to comfortably fit the mattress topper and the mattress! The mattress topper isn't squashed at all by the sheets. And, they feel wonderful. You can't go wrong with these sheets.

These are the best sheets I've ever slept on. I feel spoiled. Smooth, soft, with a fine finish. You would need to pay more than twice as much elsewhere a set of sheets with such high quality.

I was very pleased with these sheets. While they are very sturdy, they are also very soft. Extremely comfortable and a good value.

After reading the reviews, i decided on this set. The egyptian cotton sounded too rough, and some of the other 600-ct sheets sounded like bad deals. My wife really loved the look and feel of them - they made a perfect 9th anniversary gift!

These are great comfortable sheets. They also have held up well. I would buy them again.

These are substantial feeling sheets. They seem to run bigger than some I have purchased elsewhere. The subtle stripe make bed making a snap.
